Also, as I begin to interact with some of you about your Term Projects, I can clarify further what I'm looking for ideally in your choice of subject for option #1.

I know we're still working on an ideal definition of UGC. However, at the heart of Term Project #1, here's what you should be looking for specifically to make it an ideal UGC analysis:

- the entity should have been historically involved in "traditional" messaging or content distribution (i.e. mainstream media, advertising, campaigning). Which means it was involved in mainly one-way communication with its target audience/clients/congregation (which was CONSUMING the entity's content/messaging).

- there now exists an opportunity (whether real, or something you believe should happen) for that entity's audience/clients/congregation to turn around and use digital media to PRODUCE content for the entity. So now we have a two-way situation, where information is flowing between the users and the entity. The users (or consumers) are both USING and PRODUCING.
