Gradebook
I've added a "total" percentage to your gradebook page. This is percentage of points earned out of points possible for JUST homework. The statistics are available so you can see how you are doing compared to the average in the class. At present it is just for the first 5 homeworks. October 31 2009, 7:19 PM
Computer Lab (MEB 231)
Please clean up after yourselves when using the lab. Numerous wrappers, cups, tissues, papers are being left in MEB 231. We have very limited janitorial service. The next step will be restricting the hours of lab usage to only when a TA can be present or to the hours of 9:00 to 5:00. October 15 2009, 7:22 PM
Homework #3
Check the "Homework" page for a correction to a typo.

Welcome to ME 123, Visualization and CAD, Autumn Quarter 2009
Please become familiar with this website; it serves as a primary form of communication between the course administrators and you, the students. Check the course Announcements frequently for important information regarding homework/exam/schedule updates and/or corrections as they arise. These may not be discussed explicitly in class, however you will be held responsible for them! All course material will be made available to the class in a timely fashion throughout the quarter. Take some time to explore each of the links and identify what material will be made available and where. In addition to providing access to the lab handouts, homework assignments, practice exams, quizes and their corresponding solutions, you will also be required to submit electronic files via the Catalyst system which can be accessed from the course webpage, as well. Be sure to monitor your grades throughout the quarter (see link at left). The Hot Links to the right provide quick access to material of recent focus in the course. September 29 2009, 12:08 PM
Homework Files
Please make sure the files you submit are valid files. Do not submit temporary files. Check to make sure your filenames do not start with ~$ and that the file size is greater than 1k. To make sure this doesn't happen, always close Solidworks before uploading your files. |
