Engine and Transmission Removal of Fiero #2
On January 29th, 2005 a team of people (including the BJ CANE design team) descended on a second Fiero in order to remove the Engine and Transmission. The transmission removed from this 2nd Fiero is a Getrag 5 Speed Manual and will eventually be used in the EV project. This tranmission will replace the 4-speed automatic transmission that was available from the initial fiero.
Below are a number of pictures taken throughout the day

Setup used to lift the car in order to remove the engine/tranmission setup

This Fiero was not in the best of shape when purchased

Raised the Car and removed the jackstands to rest the engine on a removal tray

Engine/Transmission was finally removed.
