Summer is an active season in Meinung and throughout Southern Taiwan. MPA regularly hosts summer camps for university students. It also hosts a major annual event called the “Yellow Butterfly Festival” to commemorate the loss of Yellow Butterfly habitats to the destruction of forests at the site of the proposed Meinung Dam. In addition to its own scenic landscape, Meinung is the gateway to various scenic areas in the region. In addition to the studio, we will organize excursions to visit recent projects in Kaohsiung and aboriginal villages in the adjacent Pingtung County. Following the studio, you may want to relax on the beaches of Kenting National Park or the night markets of Kaohsiung.
