Electrodiagnostic studies (NCS/EMG)

Findings: Abnormal study while symptomatic. The right peroneal, tibial and ulnar compound motor action potentials (CMAPs) have reduced amplitude. All sensory nerve action potentials (SNAPs) are normal. Repetitive nerve stimulation of the right ulnar nerve at 10Hz increased the CMAP amplitude by 55%. Electromyography (EMG) shows small amplitude motor units with decreased recruitment. No myotonia is present.
