(Not pictured. See CT.) The MRI shows a single diffusion weighted abnormality in the left basis pontis consistent with an acute lacunar stroke. The lacune in the right caudate is chronic. Mild periventricular microvascular disease is present. Moderate cerebral and cerebellar atrophy greater than expected for age.
