Grand Rounds
Away students do not attend UW Neurology Grand Rounds.

Neurology grand rounds are held in K069 at UW from 4:15-6PM on Thursdays. Two separate 45 minute presentations are scheduled with a short break. The usual format is to start with a case-based presentation from a neurology resident. The second presentation can be case-based from a faculty member, a guest speaker, or basic science lecture.

The format each summer is different (July-September). Lectures are geared for the incoming neurology resident class. The goal is to present topics that will help residents survive call nights in the emergency room. Examples include: stroke, vertigo, coma, epilepsy, etc.

See the Neurology Department website for grand rounds topics during the course.
