FIRST DAY

Clerkship orientation: Orientation is at the UW at 8:00AM on the first day of your clerkship. The room number is on the Didactics page. Room information may change at the end of each rotation, so be sure to check the table the weekend before you begin.

After orientation: Report to Olympia Neurology.

Equipment to bring: White coat and name tag, reflex hammer, tuning fork (128Hz), stethoscope, (Ophthalmoscope recommended).


TRAVEL & HOUSING

Mileage reimbursement: You will receive mileage reimbursement for one roundtrip to and from Olympia, and for your trips back and forth to Seattle for weekly class meetings. Contact GOWWAMI@dommail.dom.washington.edu to arrange for reimbursement.

Housing: Students will stay with Dr. Bell or at an extended stay hotel in Olympia, depending on space availability or student needs. The clerkship coordinator will contact you with details.

Driving directions:
( From the UW area)
Take I-5 South to Martin Way exit (#109) in Olympia.
Turn RIGHT at Martin Way
.
Travel on Martin Way (a little over a mile ) until Lilly Rd; turn RIGHT on Lilly Rd.
Olympia Neurology is in the St. Peter Professional Building at 525 Lilly Rd.
It is just past the entrance to St. Peter Hospital on the left side of the road.
