The answer is: b) a high fat snack food.

This ad is very interesting. The picture of this very thin girl comes from a potato chip ad. Yet many people struggle with weighing too much because they eat too many high fat snack foods, like chips.

Did you know that a bag of chips from the vending machine can have as many as 240 calories? It would take 4 apples to get that many calories! For snacks, try fresh fruit more often or pretzels for something salty and crunchy.

The answer is d) a weight loss product.

You may have thought this was from an ad for lingerie. But many weight loss ads use airbrushed images of glamorous and skinny models to grab attention. The message seems to be, “use our product and look like this.”Do you believe this?WE DON’T!

The answer is d) a weight loss product.

Were you thinking of a vacation spot? That’s probably what they wanted you to think.Perhaps their message is, “Use our product, you’ll be thin, and THEN you’ll be happy—life will be a sunny vacation!”Instead of waiting to enjoy yourself, choose fun activities now like dancing, rollerblading, biking, walking with a friend …whatever gets you moving.
