Welcome to the web site for University of Washington Oceanography's senior thesis project. During a two quarter course, students design research projects covering biology, chemistry, physics and geology. This year students are conducting research aboard the R/V Thomas G. Thompson at the Kermadec volcanic arc, New Zealand. In addition to planning their own research, the students are responsible for much of the cruise planning. Questions for the students are welcome via email or as comments on the cruise blog.

Announcement: Join us at the class symposium: June 2nd, 1:30-4:30, Ocean Sciences Building, Room 425
