This course is focused on the Application of Remotely Sensed data and Geostatistics in Coastal Earth Science Research. The course is ideally suited for those students who seek to develop more in-depth skills and an advanced understanding of the concepts behind modern tools for detecting, describing, and estimating spatial patterns and trends in earth observing satellite data. The course specifically addresses ways of investigating the spatial continuity that is an essential feature of natural phenomena.
