Coverage
The midterm covers material from ISSP Chapter 1-3, plus electron
diffraction at the beginning of Chapter 17. It also covers the
general information about measurements and fabrication covered in class
the week of October 9.
The midterm will consist of:
Two problems (related to HW and class discussions) to solve
3 or 4 Definitions/Descriptions: You will be asked to define a
term (e.g. reciprocal lattice or molecular beam epitaxy) and give an
example of its use.
