Since graduating from the University of Washington with a PhD in Bioinformatics, Dhileep Sivam has held several positions at Intellectual Ventures, a Bellevue-based private equity fund focused on investing in invention. He has held roles in business development, start-up incubation, fund marketing, and currently manages a number of research and philanthropic projects associated with the company. Dhileep will discuss ways in which a scientific PhD prepares you for roles in the business world, and how to manage a career transition from science to business. Seminar co-hosted by SEBA
