Startup life science companies provide important opportunities for bioscience Ph.D. graduates, allowing, for example, possible contributions that may change the way medicine is performed. It starts with a great idea, followed by an effective research and development strategy. Communicating a clear vision about a large, unmet medical or scientific need with diverse stakeholders is essential. Robert Masterson will discuss his experience as a life science startup CEO and cofounder of Tessera Diagnostics (now Onconome) and Prevencio, and will share new company strategies including: a) Ideation, b) Company Formation, c) Launch, d) Traction and e) Exit Strategy.
