Register your clicker for PHY 110, Winter 2009

R. J. Wilkes

Name: Lastname Firstname (no comma, just a space in between please!)
UNetID:        Your UW-NetID (UW computer/email username only - leave off @u.washington.edu)
Clicker ID: (See below for how to enter!)
Screen Name: See below: you can choose a personal 3-character alias (optional)

(click here only after you have checked that the info above is entered correctly)

Name

Your last name followed by your first name separated only by a space (no comma!).
Should match your last name and first name as given on your UW registration records.  Example: Smith John

UNetID

Your UNet ID. Very important to get this right, because this is how I'll match your clicker number with your name, so I can be sure to give you credit. Example: jsmith (Leave off the @u.washington.edu part)

Clicker ID

This is the ID for your clicker. You can find it by opening the battery compartment and looking at the sticker inside. Enter only the digits following the zeroes - should be a 6 or 7 digit number. For example, mine is TXE00159780. So I would enter 159780 in the box above. (NOT just the last 3 digits)

Screen Name

When you answer a quiz question, a box will appear on the lecture hall screen with the 3 letter ID you enter here in it. Example: RJW (If you don't enter this, the last 3 digits of your Clicker ID will be your screen name.)

It isn't critical to register your clicker before you use it: I can correlate names with clicker IDs and answers submitted later. If you want to change your screen name, you can re-register with the new one, until Friday, Jan 16.

But it is critical to register your clicker before January 16! At that time I will compile the class roster. If you first register your clicker after January 16, 2009, please see me to avoid losing quiz data.
