Welcome to Week 3

M-W-F 9:30-10:20am, Marine Sciences Building Room 425

Cruise Details

Oct 19-21 (inclusive of a little of 18 and 22) 2006

Start:
Wednesday Night at approximately 7pm , departing from the parking lot near the Marine Sciences Building where class is. We will board the ship downtown at Pier 66.

Return:
Sunday morning at ~9am to UW by van after being dropped off at Pier 66.

What to bring (and not bring) on the ship:

Puget Sound in October can be rainy and wet. We recommend bringing the following items with you on the cruise:

  • Steel-toed rubber sea boots (open toes shoes are not allowed)
  • Foul weather gear (a rain coat)
  • rain pants are great if you have them
  • Watch cap (it is MANDATORY that you have a cover on your head in case of abandoning ship)
  • Work gloves
  • Pack light but bring: spare shirt spare slacks spare shoes spare socks
  • sea sickness pills aspirin, medicines spare glasses toothbrush and paste
  • binoculars camera, film

    NO LIQUOR
    NO CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES

  • A CLOTHES WASHER WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
  • If you have special dietary needs, let Rick know ASAP
