QSCI 381B: Introduction to Probability and Statistics
	Recommended Text: Elementary Statistics by Larson and Farber        (4^th edition, although the 2^nd and 3^rd editions         should be fine)      This text is recommend but not prescribed. All the         material needed to pass the course will be provided      via the web-site. Tables of statistical values are needed      to solve homework problems. These are listed in the      text but are also available through EXCEL. 	An e-mail list will be used to send messages to all students in the class. This can and should be used by all students in QSCI 381. Messages to the list should be of general interest or questions that may be important to all students in the course. Personal messages should be sent directly and not the entire class.
