Extra Credit (10pts):
Experiment with the java-based interactive t-test program at the following website:
http://nimitz.mcs.kent.edu/~blewis/stat/tTest.html
a) run a t-test with at least 3 example data sets and summarize the test findings in a 1 page summary. Include p values and degrees of freedom for each analysis.
b) Enter your own two sets of data either from a problem in the book or from your own source and do the analysis and include this in your write-up.
c) Notice that the computation includes a test for equality of variance (which we will do in Chapter 10). Since we assume equality of variance in our t-test we may be doing illegal t-tests. How did the examples and your made-up problem fare regarding equality of variance?
