The algebra self test (page 1 and page 2) is 20 problems (each with multiple parts) covering the basics of algebraic operations. The ability to do these sorts of operations is crucial to success in the 291-292 courses. Students should be able to do all these problems. If this is not the case, students should be able to identify the areas where they are weakest and study the examples and explanations below.
