Boeing 737 Tour

Saturday, October 14, 2006

1.  Take Exit #5 off the I-405 unless you are a wizard of the streets.  Meet at 8:45 am on Saturday Oct  15 in the visitor's parking lot right outside Gate K-35. The gate has been changed. It the South gate. There is parking in thes haded areas outside the gate. Late arrivals will be left behind.

2.  The map shows Gate K-35 in a blue arrow. You'll have to zoom the map to see it.

3.  We'll receive our badges at the security booth (at the gate) when our tour guides, John Doll & Jeremy Domingue, comes to pick us up. Bring photo identification.

4.  It's a good idea, when convenient, to car pool since there aren't even 20 parking spaces, but there’s also tons of parking across the street.  We'll talk a little about carpooling during class.

5.  We're discussing the 737 lean production line.  This photo shows the old way of assembling the 737.
