Welcome to Psych 510: Classic Theories in Social Psychology!
The purpose of this class is to familiarize you with the topics and papers in social psychology that are widely considered the classics in the field (core theories) and to introduce you to how research is social psychological research is conducted and evaluated (core competencies). My goal is to have each student learn what makes these papers ”classics” AND examine potential pitfalls that helped to move the field forward.
Class meets Tuesdays 11:30 am – 1:20 pm and Thursdays 11:30 am - 12:20 pm in GLD 117. See links on the left for more information about this class.
