#1. x =(t-4)^(1/2) ; y = t+1
#2. x = t^(1/2) + 1 ; y = t^(1/3)
#3. x = 5*(1-exp(-t)) ; y = 7*(1-exp(-t)) -3*t
#4. x = (1-t*t)/(1+t*t) ; y = 2*t/(1+t*t)

(note: a^b means a raised to the b power 
       and exp(x) means e raised to the x power)
