study groups
Research on learning at higher education institutions
has apparently shown that the number one factor for
doing well in a course is the time spent studying.
The second most important factor is learning from peers.
Third is the role of the instructor.
Since you have no control over the teaching ability
of the instructor who is only number three on the list anyway,
maybe you could get together with your classmates and
increase your probability of sucess.
If you want to make a plea in class for starting a study group
let me know and I will let you do that at the beginning of class.
