Class Format:

Lecture discussion and field trip, with both a 1 and 2 credit option. Credit/Non-credit.

1 Credit: Attend and participate in the lecture discussions and field trip and do the readings.

2 Credits: In addition, tackle a problem-based real-life case that will emerge from the field trip, and present your work to the class.

Time:

This course will be taught from 5:30-6:50 Wednesday evenings:

Week 1: January 6, 2010

Week 2: January 20, 2010

Week 3: March 3, 2010

Week 4: March 10, 2010

Weekend Field Trip: January 30th - 31st, 2010*.

 

Lecture Location:

Lectures will be held in Room T359 - Health Sciences Building.

Field Trip is all weekend trip to Port Townsend. .

Activity Fee of $80 will help defray trip costs (transportation, board and lodging). Please check back later for the field trip itinerary.

Prerequisites:

Matriculation in a health science school; undergraduates and others may be admitted with instructors' permission. Contact Mark Oberle in Health Services with questions.
