Articles:
Type written manuscripts must be submitted no later than May 1st 2008, to be considered for the 2008 issue. Please provide relevant personal information with your submission, e.g., name(s), program(s), and email address(es). All papers should be typed in 10-12 point standard fonts double-spaced. Papers should be submitted directly to uwtjoe@u.washington.edu, as a Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf document, with all relevant tables and figures embedded in the text.
Primary and secondary research articles should be written in formal scientific format, which should include an abstract (200-250 words); in-text citations; any pertinent figures, charts, or tables; research methods (if applicable); and literature cited. There are no page length requirements, but type written manuscripts should be approximately 10-20 pages long. Book reviews, conference reports, and editorial comments should include appropriate references and provide a thoughtful and intelligent analysis of the literature or event being reviewed. Again, there are no page length requirements, but these papers should be approximately 5-10 pages long.
Posters:
Posters stemming from independent research projects or coursework will be considered for publication in UWT JoE. Posters should be submitted in pdf form, acompanied by a title, relevant contact information (same as above for manuscripts) and the context in which the poster was developed (i.e., independent research project, Capstone project, coursework project, etc.) and the name/contact info of any/all faculty supervisers. Faculty supervisor permission must be given before publication of any posters in UWT JoE (permission will be obtained by UWT JoE Editorial Board).
