EDITORIAL POLITICS & BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT ARTS & CULTURE INTERVIEWS VISUAL ARTS CREATIVITY CORNER

This is the second time that I have been privileged enough to work on The Journalist project. September 2009 I, along with three of my fellow classmates at the University of Washington Tacoma, were selected from a pool of competitive applicants to travel to Moscow State University in Russia to produce an academic magazine.

My experience in Russia is one that I will never forget. We not only produced a print publication, we also launched our second website. American and Russian officials announced that they would be trying to reset their current relationship. We felt as confident journalists we would tackle the “reset” idea and see if this would actually occur.

This May 2010, I am pleased to give our readers the second UW Tacoma created website filled with Russian and American perspectives on topics falling under editorials, politics & business, arts & culture, environment, interviews, and even a creative corner.

I hope that you will enjoy the 2010 web edition of The Journalist. I know that everyone on this project thoroughly enjoyed producing this material for you to read.

Thanks for stopping by, and don’t forget to tell your friends.
