From I-5 North/South Bound: Take the exit 163A to the West Seattle Freeway to the Harbor Avenue SW exit. Take this exit. At the light make a right turn onto Harbor Avenue SW. It will become Alki Avenue SW. The Park is on the right hand side of the road just after Duwamish Head to Alki Point. Alki Beach Park office is at 1702 Alki Ave SW in West Seattle. During our field trip we will search for intertidal fish in particular, but we will attempt to identify many of the marine invertebrate species during an extremely low tide event. If we are lucky twe may see a few shorebirds, waterfowl or even marine mammals.
