We chose to create this website for many reasons. We all, in our own ways, are passionate about science. We have been trained as scientists and many of us are about to graduate and put this training into practice. We realize that with all the knowledge that can be gained through science, it is useless unless this knowledge is shared. The role of science in society is not only to make discoveries but also to disseminate these discoveries as widely as possible.
We have selected topics to focus on that we care about. Topics that we feel are interesting and important for the public to know about. The more that is known and understood about these topics, hopefully there will become more interest in them. More interest means more funding. More funding means more research. More research means more discovery and more jobs for us
