Overall, he have been pleased with my experience at the UW; it has allowed opportunities to develop my interests in academics as well as extracurricular activities. I find that there are as many if not more opportunities for student-professor interaction at UW than a smaller school, but it is up to the student to seek them out. I am applying to medical school and I also have an interest in fisheries and work as a technician for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game when not attending school.
