This block interfaces with MTRMX-Nx from
mindsensors.com
This block allows you to control upto 4 LEGO motors using NXT.
Ensure to supply power to your motors using exernal battery.
Display Settings
- The number shows the motor this block is operating.
You can
change this number in the configuration panel if
you need to.
- The Mode of
operation of the selected motor.
- The direction of motor if it's being run.
- The default plug available to provide power.
- The default plug available to supply motor direction.
Configuring the MTRMX-Nx Block
- The NXT’s port to connect MTRMX-Nx controller.
- The I2C address of this device. The factory default
address
is 0xB4. Choose appropriate value if you have specifically changed the
address.
- Select the Motor number to operate.
- Provide direction to run this motor.
- Provide mode of operation, choose from:
- Run - the motor is run using the directionand power settings.
- Float - The motor is stopped and left to float.
- Break - Motor is stopped and kept rigid.
- The powr setting if the motor is set to 'Run'.
MTRMX-Nx Block's Data Hub Plugs
- This plug connects the wire for the number of NXT Port to which
MTRMX-Nx is connected.
- This plug connects the wire for I2C address of your MTRMX-Nx. If
you have not changed
the default I2C
address, you need not specify this value.
- Motor number to operate.
- Mode of Operation, choose from:
- Run - 0
- Float - 1
- Break - 2
- Specify the power value for the selected Motor
- Specify the direction for the selected Motor
