  • Chapter 2, Simple Statistics, Show Me the Numbers: Designing Tables and Graphs to Enlighten, 2nd ed., by Stephen Few, Analytics Press, 2012 (chapter available on class Canvas site; read only if you need a refresher on very basic statistics).
