Instructions: |

A. |
Make short paragraphs describing your room using vocabulary, grammar, and expressions you learned in Japan 111 (you may want to write them down). Your presentation must be within 1 minute 30 seconds (if you exceed this, your instructor will ask you to stop).
B. |
Practice as many times as possible (to the extent that you do not have to see the script while performing it – i.e., you have memorized it).
C. |
You may bring pictures, drawings, etc. of your room at your presentation. |
||||
Keep in mind: |
|||||
A. |
You may NOT ask your native Japanese friends to make a skit for you.
B. |
Try to limit your vocabulary/sentence structures to the ones you have learned so far. If you included some expressions either from the supplementary vocabulary list in the textbook, from dictionaries, or from what you learned outside the class, make sure that your classmates understand them by writing on the board, making handout, etc. However, excessive use of unfamiliar expression WILL affect your grade negatively.
C. |
It is best if you do not have to see the script when you perform (although you may take your notes up with you just in case…). Reading from your script for the entire skit WILL affect your grade negatively.
