First stop--Uwajimaya market. There was some confusion and curiosity as we invaded the store. On the phylum hunt. We got to see some critters that we wouldn't regularly get to see. Lunch break (with octopus). On to the Seattle Aquarium. (Photo by Holly)

We got a behind-the-scenes tour from Marla Tullio. On our tour. River otter feeding. The only site to see a lot of marine mammals. (Photo by Holly) Also a place to see some more fish diversity. (Photo by Lindsay)

Got to study lots of species at once in the two tidepools. Tidepool diversity. (Photo by Holly) Glass can make for some interesting viewing. Tropical critters! (Tridacna) (Photo by Holly) Some more abstract animals. (Couldn't resist the Chihuly--we're from Tacoma!)
