Tuesdays, 12:00 - 12:50 p.m., Health Sciences, Room E-212

Course Description

The field of biomedical and health informatics (BHI)
focuses on unleashing the potential for electronic
biomedical information to improve health and advance research.  BHI faculty and researchers from the UW and affiliated institutions present their research findings as
well as discuss their view of national developments in
their respective disciplines.

Class Attendance

  1. Missing one class session is acceptable
  2. Missing a second class session will require completing a written make-up assignment (listening to a podcast, reviewing slides, and writing a 1/2 page essay on how the lecture relates to your own research interest)
  3. Missing more than two classes will result in a grade of NC for the course
