Course description:
This colloquium serves as
an informal interactive forum for the UW BHI community (students, faculty, staff) to discuss interesting research related topics in biomedical and health informatics. Presenters are selected equally from BHI students & faculty, with occasional invited speakers. Presentations are expected to be short (20-25 mins), and may be informal, presenting ideas or work-in-progress rather than mature research results. The emphasis is on dialogue and interaction around novel research directions and ideas, hopefully helping to create a supportive research community in BHI.
