Electrodiagnostic studies (NCS/EMG)
Findings: Decreased amplitude left ulnar motor compound muscle action potential (CMAP), with normal distal latency and conduction velocity. Normal ulnar sensory study.
Following 10 seconds maximal voluntary contraction, there is a 300% increase in ulnar CMAP amplitude (shown). This is called post-tetanic facilitation.
EMG normal of the left deltoid, biceps, vastus lateralis. (Not shown)
