Overview

Welcome to the web site for Oceanography Senior Research Project. During a two part course series, students design research projects covering facets of all four oceanographic subdisciplines. This year students are conducting research in and around Puget Sound aboard the R/V Thomas G. Thompson. In addition to planning their own research, the students are responsible for much of the cruise planning. The class members now have five short weeks in which to complete their sample processing and data analysis and prepare a manuscript using the format of the journal of Limnology and Oceanography. Their final papers describing their results will also be posted to their web sites in May after a class symposium on Thursday May 31st. The symposium is open to the public so please join us.
