Do we have to read the optional sections on RHK?
In general, the material in the optional sections will not be covered in this course; however, there will be some exceptions which will be mentioned in class as the quarter progresses. As many of the optional sections integrate several ideas in the context of an important example, I do recommend that you read the optional sections for your own benefit.
