electrochemistry and thin film optics by converting dull grey titanium
into colorful jewelry via electrochemcial anodization. The target
audience is middle school, but all ages seem to enjoy it. See the

Build a Rainbow

An experiment developed as part of the outreach
activities for the Center for Nanotechnology at the University of
Washington. In the experiment, electrodeposition of a thin film
produces varying interference colors. It is geared for middle to
