![]() ASSIGNMENTSDeadlines are always 5 pm on the Wednesday evening before class, as a new "reply" in the "conversation" for the week.I encourage all students to read and comment on the points made by other students - agree, disagree, compliment a classmate for unusual insight, provide supporting evidence, etc. In all cases, I will expect your writing to be thoughtful, clear, grammatical, properly punctuated, in short: "professional." Use spell-check, use the grammar tools available to you. Your writing will be evaluated and will be the key component of your grade, along with attendance and class participation. See writing rubric. Be prepared to present and defend your opinions in class on the topics under discussion. Click on the proper Assignment, below. On that page, click on "Reply", and either type your response in the box, copy and paste from another text document, or upload a file. If you upload your work as a file, please use doc files and not pdf files, as I cannot easily correct or place comments on pdf files.
