PEER REVIEW
Peer Review is a web tool designed by the Catalyst Center for the University
of Washington which enables the students to collaborate online by providing
a forum for focused discussion or group work. Participants post, review,
and comment on each other's work via a Web interface. The tool also
allows comments to be made on the whole work, on a paragraph, or on
a sentence.
In SIS 200 you are expected to send your rough draft to your study
group for comments using the Peer Review tool for your section. What
this means is that you log in to your peer review site for your study
group and follow the instructions to post your paper. Your TAs will
be able to see when you post your paper and monitor whether comments
are contributed. No one else in the section should be able to read your
paper or your comments meant for the members of your study group.
Your first draft (4-6 pgs) is due November 7th.
Comments must be posted for each member in your study group by November
12th.
You are strongly encouraged to print out and read these instructions
before you post your paper and use the tool: peer
