Week 1: March 28 - April 3
This week will be a busy one of getting oriented. You'll be setting up your 282 homepage and registering for a service learning position.
Monday, March 28
After breezing as quickly as possible through the syllabus to get an overview of the class, Rachel Vaughn from the UW's Carlson Center will tell us about service learning in general, the specific positions available to this class, and the service learning registration process. During the second hour of class, you will get acquainted with (X)HTML and CSS by putting together your own 282 homepage by taking code from a sample homepage and modifying it.
