Audio was a lot better with the shotgun mic. The script needed to be improvised a lot, with a change in location as well. The lighting was pretty nice though a little inconsistent when not under the trees. And none of us are particularly great actors. Overall I believe the production was satisfactory.
This is a short story about a friend who goes to meet his friend in the woods and discovers his dead body. He calls the police who send a rather unprofessional detective in search of the cause. All are shocked to find the truth.
Great job, guys–you film was really hilarious. I really like that your team incorporated a boom mic, I wish I would have thought of that. Your location was choice as well, it really gave your story/script life. Enjoy your summer break!
