- junior, senior, or graduate student ranking or permission of the instructor
- no language requirement; course work will be conducted in English
- freshman-level chemistry, physics, biology or other core-science courses highly recommended
- preference will be given to students with a demonstrated academic interest in the science and engineering of water systems
