1. CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING PROBE :
Due: Thursday, April 27, 2000
Hand in: a write-up for your conceptual understanding probe of last week that includes:
- your rationale for the design of your probe
- your analysis of its strengths and weaknesses.
- the results from your probe and your analysis of those results
- a copy of your probe
- any other comments
NOTE: Those of you whose RR5.1 submissions to the class listserv contained discussion addressing any of the above may submit that text as part of the assignment, where relevant.
2. ASSESSMENT:
Due: Tuesday, May 2, 2000
Design an assessment for your upcoming teaching exercise.
The assessment should be designed to measure whether the goal(s) for your teaching exercise were met.
It can be of any form you choose.
Hand in: a write-up that includes:
- your assessment
- your rationale for the design of your assessment
- your analysis of the possible strengths and weaknesses of the assessment
- any other comments
