Olympic Peninsula

Hole-In-The-Wall

The Hole-In-The-Wall site was the most difficult to get to. It involved a 2.25 mile hike in soft sand and loose gravel. The payoff however was enormous. The site was teeming with all types of life from fish to crustaceans. The most common fish, byfar, was the tidepool sculpin, but the elusive (at least for me) Northern Clingfish was also found.
