Olympic Peninsula

The Olympic Peninsula was the final field trip of the quarter. Our base for this trip was the Olympic Natural Resource Center (ONRC). It is located in Forks, WA and has fairly centralized access to the parts of Olympic National Park that we were interested in.

Locations that we visited while on the outer coast included the Elwah River, Hole-In-The-Wall, the Hoh Rainforest, and Salt Creek. Of these sites, only Hole-In-The-Wall and Salt Creek will be discussed in detail as they were the only marine sites.
