Olympic Penninsula

Salt Creek

This was a very interesting site. It was rife with wild sea life. Some of this life even included fish that I had never seen before this trip. These included a tidepool snailfish and another clingfish. This site is my personal favorite because (1) it was the last field trip site and (2) there was so much diversity between the two sides of the point. On the west side there seemed to be more rocky substrates, but on the east side it seemed to be much less steep. This allowed for many more fish. There was also a wide variety of sculpins all over the point.
