Location

The meeting will be held from October 5 to October 8 in Medford, Oregon. Most of the conference activities, including the oral presentation sessions and the poster session, will take place at the Smullin Health Education Center at the Rouge Valley Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. The conference banquet will take place at the Asland Armory in neighboring Ashland, OR. Guests are encouraged to lodge at the Ashland Springs Hotel, the hotel has been reserved for this purpose. The towns of Ashland and Medford are roughly 10 miles apart from each other, transportation in the form of vans will be provided by the conference.

By Plane,
The Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport (MFR) is located in southwestern Oregon and serves the City of Medford, Jackson county, and the entire Rogue Valley. Commercial air service is provided by U.S. Air, operated by Mesa Air; Horizon Air;  United Express and Delta Connection, offered by Sky West, and Allegiant Air.  These carriers offer approximately 60 arriving and departing flights daily to and from San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City.

There will be van transportation provided by the conference to the Ashland Springs Hotel and the Smullin Health Education Center from the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport on October 5 and October 8. If you are interested in using this van service, please contact the conference coordinator with your flight information or indicate so upon registration. In addition to this service, a number of rental car agencies are located in the terminal of the airport. By Train,
Amtrak operates train service that stops in Klamath Falls, Oregon (KFS) from most cities on the west coast, including Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Van service will be available from the train station at Klamath Falls to Medford on October 5 and October 8. If you are interested in traveling by train and would need van assistance, please contact the conference coordinator or indicate so upon registration.

By Car,
Medford and Ashland are located in Southern Oregon on Interstate 5 and are easily accessible by car. Driving north on Interstate 5, Medford is 360 miles from San Francisco, CA, 300 miles from Sacramento, CA, and 690 miles from Los Angeles, CA. Driving south, Medford is 275 miles from Portland, OR and 445 miles from Seattle, WA.

Van Service During the Conference

Van service will be provided by the conference to shuttle attendees to and from the airport or trainstation on October 5 and October 8, as well as to shuttle attendees between the Ashland Springs Hotel and the Smullin Health Education Center during the conference. The Smullin Health Education Center is located on the Rogue Valley Medical Center campus in Medford, Oregon. All conference events will take place at the conference center with the exception of the conference banquet.
