Syllabus

The syllabus below provides the lecture topics and associated readings, the dates of exams, and the due dates for assignments, across the term.  Further, this syllabus will serve as a hypertext document, permitting you to link to items such as lecture notes, the details of a specific homework assignment or project, the solutions for homework assignments, and the web-based surveys used in the course.  Further, changes in the sequence of topics in the course and/or the due date of assignments will be noted here.
